VOLUNTEERS

WHY VOLUNTEER

Volunteering is a great way to “give back”—to your community and to your God, who has blessed you with so many gifts and talents. Many folks, who volunteer work all day, then come straight from work. When asked why they would do that, some say “I give time at my job for the money; I serve at the Bridge because it makes me feel fulfilled—like I’m really making a difference in the world”. There are all kinds of ways to serve: some volunteers come once a week for 1-1/2 hour; some come once a month, some come for special events a few times per year. Whether you like kids or not, we have a place where you can plug in. Join our team and see what God does in your life…Read Isaiah 58:6-12 for inspiration.

As a volunteer, you will be part of a Christian ministry dedicated to sharing God’s love. You need to have the same high standards and sense of commitment that our staff has.

To qualify, you must be:

• Comfortable working across denominational lines.

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to a Christian lifestyle.

• Willing to make a commitment of time consistent with a specific volunteer opportunity.

• Willing and able to work as a team player.
